Ms. Courtney Crosby, Chief of Staff

Courtney Crosby was named Chief of Staff in November 2024 after serving as Director of Internal Audit since joining the agency in August 2021. 

Ms. Crosby began her career at a regional public accounting firm and has worked in state government for over 17 years.  She has held audit positions at the University of South Carolina, South Carolina State Treasurer’s Office and BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.  She also served as Investigator for the South Carolina Board of Accountancy at the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. 

Ms. Crosby earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina.  She is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina.
